Coming out of lurkdom to brag...

Some of you will recall that I train and show my dogs, and fought my way back to it after a stroke 9 years ago. Sadly, my mobility has regressed to the point that I can't be on my feet enough to do it anymore, but I have wonderful friends in my training and flyball clubs who have taken over Kaylee's training and showing. Leslie and Cynthia work with her in Obedience and Rally, Leslie and Kyle work with her in Agility, and whoever is available at the time Kaylee is due in the flyball lane runs her there. Fortunately Kaylee is NOT a one-person dog. As long as she knows I'm nearby, she will happily work with anybody.

This weekend our training club held its fall Obedience/Rally trial. Kaylee showed late Saturday morning in Novice B obedience with Leslie. That gave her 2 of the required 3 Qs for her CD. Late that afternoon she went into the Rally Advanced ring with Cynthia, got her 3rd RA Q and earned that title. Sunday morning she and Leslie went back into Novice B and earned her CD. We moved Kaylee up to Rally Excellent after her success Saturday, and she earned her first RE Q with Cynthia.

I am extremely proud to live with CH Crossraguel Que Lista CD BN RA FDCH-G CGC, aka Kaylee the Wild Child (she is NOT calm outside the ring!)
